Administrators
Meet our School Administrators
Mr. Chad Dixon
I am excited to begin my 29th year in education and my 5th year as principal at North Central Middle School.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Winthrop University in 1994 and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Argosy University in 2004.
I began my professional career at Bethune High School in 1994 as a physical education teacher and coach. In 1998, I moved to Myrtle Beach High School, where I continued to teach and coach. I was fortunate to coach two State Championship teams while there. In 2001, I took the opportunity to come back home to my alma mater, North Central High. I taught physical education and coached numerous sports until 2012. At that time, I made the transition to administration as an assistant principal at NCHS. In 2018, I was given the opportunity and had the pleasure of becoming the 3rd principal in the history of North Central Middle School.
I am a firm believer that with hard work and dedication a student can follow their dreams and go anywhere with a North Central education. This can be seen by our many alumni that have accomplished much in their careers, as doctors, lawyers, professional athletes, professional singers, business owners, nurses, teachers, school administrators, police officers, and military leaders, just to name a few. I am forever and always proud to be a part of the North Central community. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Jill, and have four children; Caroline (23), Madison (20) Junior at the University of South Carolina, Aubrey (15) Sophomore at NCHS, and Brayden (11) 5th grader at North Central Elementary. You’ll see them with me at many North Central events.
Go Patriots,
R. Chad Dixon
Mrs. Katherine Hough
I am excited to return to KCSD as a North Central Middle Assistant Principal.
After graduating from Camden High School, I attended Clemson University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in History. I then earned a MAT in Secondary Education from the University of South Carolina, and a MEd in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University.
Previously, I taught Social Studies at North Central High, and was named the 2016-2017 teacher of the year. My husband, JC, and I live in Bethune with our daughter, and enjoy hiking and Clemson football. (Go Tigers!)
