Meet your Counselors

School counselors are here to help you!

We work with students individually, in small groups, and through classroom lessons to teach important academic and social emotional skills and to help prepare students for their future careers.

We also work with families and community agencies to make sure our students' needs are met.

Please reach out to us with any concerns and we will do what we can to help!

Megan King

My name is Megan King, and I live in Bethune, SC with my husband, Grayson, our son, Jameson, and our two goldendoodles, Deebo and Beamer. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Middle Level Education with a specialization in math from Coastal Carolina University in 2020 and went on to teach 7th grade math at North Central Middle School for five years.

In 2025, I completed my master’s degree in School Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am excited to continue serving the NCMS community as a school counselor, where I can build meaningful relationships with students, support their academic, social, and emotional growth, and help them navigate their future goals and aspirations.
